Hockey is officially back in Alberta as the Alberta Elite Hockey League’s 2021-22 regular season gets underway across the province on Friday night.
The U18 AAA and U15 AAA schedules both kick off on October 1, while the U16 AAA season begins on October 8.
The U18 AAA season gets going with a trio of Friday night games, and six each on Saturday and Sunday, while U15 AAA will see just one contest Friday evening, with eight games set for Saturday, and nine on Sunday.
The Alberta Female Hockey League season also gets underway this weekend, as the U18 AAA division kicks off its regular season on Saturday, October 2.
Meanwhile, The U18 AA and U15 AA divisions will each hit the ice beginning Friday for their respective Firestarter tournaments, which will see a weekend of exhibition play for all teams.
