AEHL’s Players of the Month – November

The Alberta Elite Hockey League is pleased to announce Caleb Matthews, Kasey Fuson, and Ethan Collins as the Players of the Month for November.

U18 AAA – Caleb Matthews (Forward – Calgary Buffaloes)

Matthews played in six games during the month of November, where he potted six goals and assisted on six others for 12 points. His highlight came on November 11 where Matthews scored two goals and three assists against Sherwood Park.

 

 

 

U17 AAA – Kasey Fuson (Goaltender – St. Albert Raiders Flyers)

Fuson had a sparkling month of November. The St. Albert native played in five games, putting up a 1.60 goals-against-average, .929 save percentage and three shutouts.

“Kasey had a great month of November and was a key part in the Flyers successful month,” said Ryan Campbell, St. Albert head coach. “Kasey’s calm demeanour and work ethic has led to his successful start to the season.”

 

 

U15 AAA – Ethan Collins (Forward – Fort Saskatchewan Enhance It Rangers)

Collins suited up in five games for the Rangers this past month, putting up four goals and five assists, helping Fort Saskatchewan to a 4-1 record in those five games. The Rangers are second in the North Division with an 11-5-1 record.

“Ethan competes at the highest level both on and off the ice,” said Tyson Munro, Fort Saskatchewan head coach. “He pushes both himself and his teammates to be better and is always working to improve his game. This month he helped lead our team to a 4-1 record and 2nd place in the north.”
