The U18 AAA Calgary Flames and U18 AAA Edmonton Jr. Oilers White are gearing up for their respective National Championship runs.
After sweeping the Sherwood Park Kings in their best-of-five series, the Calgary Flames have qualified for the Pacific Regional Championship against the BCEHL champion Okanagan Rockets in Calgary. The winner of the best-of-three series earns a berth in the 2025 Telus Cup, April 21-27 in Chilliwack, BC.
Game 1 of the series against Okanagan is set for April 4, with puck drop at 7:00 M.T. Game 2 takes place the following day at 7:00 M.T. If necessary, the third and final game is scheduled for April 6 at 1:00 M.T.

The U18 AAA Flames have teamed up with KidSport and the Calgary Sports Bank to support local youth athletes!
If you’re attending the Pacific Regional Championship series, we encourage you to bring any gently used sports equipment to donate. Your contribution will help the Calgary Sports Bank provide kids with the gear they need to participate in sports, making the game more accessible to all young athletes.

The Edmonton Jr. Oilers White swept the AFHL U18 AAA playoffs, going undefeated through all 3 of their series and outscoring opponents 24-5. The Oilers are travelling to Delta to face the BCEHL U18 AAA Female champion Greater Vancouver Comets in a best-of-three series to earn a spot in the 2025 Esso CUP hosted April 20-26 in Lloydminster, AB.
Game 1 of the series against the Comets will take place on April 4; the opening puck drop is set for 7:15 pm M.T. Game 2 will be the following day at 8:00 pm M.T. If necessary, game three will be April 6 at 2:00 pm M.T.

The PWM Lloydminster Steelers are hosting the 2025 Esso Cup.
