The inaugural Alberta Elite Hockey League U15 AAA Provincial Championships, presented by ATB, kick off Thursday in Fort Saskatchewan, with five teams competing for the title of League Champion.
Having previously been decided by a championship series, 2022 marks the first time the U15 AAA Championship will be played in a multi-team tournament format.
As the host team, the Fort Sask Rangers will compete against the St. Albert Sabres, Sherwood Park Flyers, Airdrie Xtreme, and Okotoks Oilers, all of whom earned a berth in the Provincials through league playoffs.
Round-robin play kicks off Thursday afternoon, and continues through Saturday, with the bronze medal game set for Sunday at 10am, and the gold medal game at 1pm. All games take place at the Jubilee Rec Centre in Fort Saskatchewan, and all games will be streamed on HockeyTV.
